OPD: 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon & 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Examination First,
Treatment Second
Ojjas Eye Hospital organizes care around four areas: Cataract and Lens, Cornea and External Eye, Refractive Surgery, and Retina. Each area is supported by dedicated diagnostic equipment and surgical technology, so your evaluation and treatment plan are based on what our ophthalmologists actually find during examination, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Our partner doctors, Dr. Hardik D. Jivani (Patel), Dr. Dipti Kanani Boda, and Dr. Dharmesh D. Shah, bring qualifications including M.S. Ophth., F.C.A.S., and a Fellowship in Medical Retina and ROP. Every treatment decision is made after a proper eye examination.

Cataract Surgery with
Premium IOL Options
Cataract surgery at Ojjas is performed using the J&J Signature system. After a detailed eye examination, our ophthalmologists discuss lens options with you, including Premium IOLs, Multifocal IOLs, and Toric IOLs, so you understand what each option is designed to address.
The right lens for you depends on your eye condition, your daily visual needs, and examination findings. Your ophthalmologist will walk you through the suitable options for your case rather than recommending a single default choice.
- Cataract Surgery using the J&J Signature system
- Premium IOL options discussed based on your eye condition
- Multifocal IOL for patients evaluated as suitable candidates
- Toric IOL for patients with corneal astigmatism, where indicated
- Lens recommendation made only after full eye examination

Conditions We Treat
Cornea, Pterygium and
Keratoconus Treatment
Our cornea and external eye services cover a range of conditions, from pterygium, a growth of tissue on the surface of the eye that can cause irritation, redness, or visual disturbance, to corneal ulcers, corneal abscess, and keratoconus. Pterygium surgery at Ojjas uses the Conjunctival Autografting technique, and the decision to operate is made after examination of the affected eye.
For keratoconus, we offer Corneal Cross-Linking using our UVX Cross Linker, which may help strengthen the cornea and stabilize progression in appropriate cases. Corneal transplantation is available for patients where it is medically indicated, following specialist assessment.
- Pterygium Surgery with Conjunctival Autografting
- Corneal Ulcer and Corneal Abscess diagnosis and treatment
- Corneal Transplantation for appropriate patients
- Keratoconus assessment and Corneal Cross-Linking using the UVX Cross Linker
- Prompt evaluation recommended for pain, redness, discharge, or reduced vision
SILK, LASIK and
Refractive Procedures
For patients looking to reduce their dependence on spectacles or contact lenses, we offer SILK, LASIK and other refractive surgery options. Suitability is determined by your eye health, corneal condition, refractive status, age, and a specialist evaluation, since not every patient is a candidate for every procedure.
Our ophthalmologists carry out a thorough evaluation before any recommendation is made. If you are not a suitable candidate for a particular procedure, we will explain why and discuss what options are available for your situation.
- SILK evaluation for suitable candidates
- LASIK evaluation for suitable candidates
- Other refractive surgery options discussed post-examination
- Corneal health, refractive status, and age all assessed
- Specialist evaluation required before any recommendation

Retinal Assessment and Laser Treatment
OCT Scanning and
Retinal Laser Treatment
Our retina services include detailed assessment using the NIDEK RS-330 Retinal Scan Duo OCT and treatment with our 532 nm Retinal Laser where clinically indicated. This supports care for diabetic retinopathy, ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity), and other retinal conditions.
Treatment decisions are based on your scan results and clinical findings. If you have been diagnosed with diabetes or have been advised to have a retinal check, a timely evaluation with our retina specialist is recommended.
- OCT and Retinal Scan using the NIDEK RS-330 Retinal Scan Duo
- Diabetic Retinopathy assessment and management
- ROP evaluation and treatment support
- 532 nm Retinal Laser treatment where clinically indicated

Before Your Consultation
Answers to the questions patients ask most often about our eye care services at Ojjas Eye Hospital.
What cataract surgery options are available at Ojjas Eye Hospital?
Cataract surgery is performed using the J&J Signature system. Lens options include Premium IOLs, Multifocal IOLs, and Toric IOLs. The right lens is recommended only after a full eye examination, taking into account your eye condition, corneal health, and daily visual needs. Our ophthalmologists will walk you through the options suitable for your specific case.
Does Ojjas Eye Hospital treat keratoconus?
Yes. We offer keratoconus assessment and corneal cross-linking using the UVX Cross Linker, which may help strengthen the cornea and stabilize progression in appropriate cases. The decision to proceed with cross-linking is made after a specialist evaluation.
Is LASIK or SILK available at Ojjas Eye Hospital?
Yes. We offer SILK, LASIK and other refractive surgery evaluations. Suitability is determined by your eye health, corneal condition, refractive status, age, and a specialist assessment, since not every patient is a candidate for every procedure. A comprehensive eye examination is required before any refractive surgery recommendation.
What retina services are offered at Ojjas Eye Hospital?
We provide detailed retinal assessment using the NIDEK RS-330 Retinal Scan Duo OCT, diabetic retinopathy assessment and management, ROP evaluation and treatment support, and 532 nm retinal laser treatment where clinically indicated. All treatment decisions are based on your scan results and clinical findings.
What is pterygium surgery and what technique does Ojjas use?
Pterygium is a growth of tissue on the surface of the eye that can cause irritation, redness, or visual disturbance. Ojjas Eye Hospital performs pterygium surgery using the Conjunctival Autografting technique, which involves using a small piece of your own conjunctival tissue to cover the area where the pterygium was removed. The decision to operate is made after a thorough examination of the affected eye.
Should I visit a retina specialist if I have diabetes?
Yes. Patients with diabetes should have regular retinal evaluations even when vision appears normal, as diabetic retinopathy can develop without obvious early symptoms. Early detection and timely management support better outcomes. Our retina specialist, Dr. Dipti Kanani Boda, provides assessment and management using OCT imaging and retinal laser treatment where indicated.
